In her current role, Bonnie advises foundations and impact investors on diversity, equity and inclusion and impact strategies. She has delivered DEI training to over 80 impact investors around the world and co-founded the Diversity Forum for Inclusive Social Investment. She is a Senior Contributor on Forbes Women and an Investment Committee member of Access - Foundation for Social Investment.
Yu-Shan is an experienced impact consultant and trainer and has worked with a range of foundations and impact funds with a focus on impact measurement, impact investing and diversity and inclusion. She has supported the Equality Impact Investing Project to deliver its inaugural training and led the development of digital resources.

What are the dimensions that impact investors can consider in order to advance DEI outcomes? In this first session, we will cover the definitions of DEI, introduce the DEI maturity model which covers three main dimensions for impact investors to adopt DEI practices: leadership/power, mission, and products/investments. We will deep dive into leadership and learn from each other’s experience in a group discussion.

Wednesday 8th June 1-2:30 pm CET

In this second session, we will focus on the “products/investments” dimension and go through how DEI can be embedded in the pre-investment phase, from deal sourcing to investment decision. Next, we will discuss how DEI can be accounted for post-investment and we’ll share best practices with the group.

Monday 20th June 1-2:30 pm CET

What does it mean to truly commit to DEI across the whole organisation? In this third session, we will introduce and discuss practices to act upon an organisation’s mission, from HR practices to internal monitoring. We will discuss how to address the common barriers and implement good practices for embedding DEI into your organisation.
