How Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has a tangible impact on your ability to grow successfully? In this first session, we will discuss why it is important to embrace DEI from the start, counter common myths and objections about DEI and learn about three types of biases (individual, organisational and contextual). We use simple examples to illustrate the pervasive impact of DEI on all aspects of a venture and use computer simulations to support key concepts.

In the second session, we will focus on how DEI influences every step of the hiring process, from recruiting to making an offer. We will identify and eliminate biases, quantify their financial cost and learn how to overcome them.

In the third session, we will discuss the relationship between inclusion and diversity and why the former is critical to the success of any organisation. We will answer the question of how to improve and embed inclusion at work and discuss its importance for productivity and reputation. Lastly, we will learn to recognise the patterns of exclusion and to act upon the common barriers for embedding inclusion in your organisation.
